Luis Cruz
Head Photographer/Company Director
Luis is the founder of Cruz studios and has been a professional photographer for the past fifteen years and still loves what he does.
Luis has worked and collaborated with other artists, magazines, agencies and some of Bristol's most prestigious studios. He’s worked with a vast range of local and national brands such as Burnt Soul, Meridian Foods, Coal’s Kitchen, Digital Camera magazine, British Airways, Ben's Originals, Look Fantastic, Asos, L’oreal and many more.
He’s best known for his vibrant and creative photography, but loves creating extreme imagery from totally opposite ends of the spectrum.
Rebecca Robinson
MUA, Stylist, Creative Assistant & Hand model
Rebecca is a talented creative makeup artist with a versatile skill set, excelling in both flawless beauty looks and photoshoot styling.
As a model and hand model, Rebecca uses her experience in front of the camera to enhance the artistic vision of each shoot. She has worked on TV commercials, ad campaigns and fashion shoots, creating camera-ready looks. Luis and Rebecca have worked on innumerous shoots together and they are very good on bouncing ideas off each other, specially when it comes to working with colours.
Rebecca is a key asset to our team. Her creativity, professionalism, and multitasking skills make her a sought-after collaborator on any project.
Dan Venton
Studio Manager/ Admin executive
Dan is our Studio Manager. His diverse role sees him spinning lots of plates to keep our studio running like clock-work - he's our very own busy bee!
Behind the computer he will be putting briefs together, sourcing props and keeping on top of our admin, ensuring the studio running smoothly. Away from the computer, he gets stuck in with supporting our shoots, from food preparation to helping putting sets together. He is our ultimate multi-tasker.
When not running our studio, Dan heads back to his native Cornwall as much as possible to enjoy a good pasty and some well deserved time off by the coast!
André Vieira
Marketing & Shoot Assistant
André is the ultimate multitasker! By day, he’s a devoted vet, but when he’s not sporting his FSA helmet, he’s at Cruz Studios, diving into marketing and assisting with shoots.
As if that wasn’t enough, he’s also a pole dancer, handbalancer, and aerialist, effortlessly defying gravity while showcasing his impressive skills. Plus, he’s a proud dog dad (also whippets) who’s always flexible enough to jump into any adventure.
With his unique mix of expertise and enthusiasm, André truly does it all—showing that juggling careers and hobbies is just another day in his busy life.
Jimmy Chews
In-house Confidant & Cuddle Giver
Meet Jimmy, our super fast whippet with a face so cute it could probably get away with murder (although he mostly just "steals" hearts and snacks).
Built like a furry race car, Jimmy can go from zero to zoomies in 2.5 seconds, but don't let that sleek, athletic look fool you—his true calling is being a professional couch potato.
With his soulful eyes and floppy ears, Jimmy’s the kind of dog who can convince you to share your sandwich with just one look. He’s basically a runway model and has even featured in some of product shoots!

How long does a shoot take?
It all depends on the size of project, but a half-day shoot is 3 ½ hours whereas a full day is 7 hours.

I don’t know if I need to book a half-day or a full day, can you help?
Yes, of course! Just use the contact form to get in touch with us and we can look at the size and complexity of your project and let you know how long is needed.

Can you help me put a brief together?
Absolutely! Creating a brief not only helps to plan the shoot but is also the best way to get an accurate quote. All you need to do is get into contact with us.

How much do you charge?
Headshots start from £150, and product from £350. Costs vary on the size and complexity of the project but get in touch for a free quotation.

I need a shoot as soon as possible, can you help?
For our latest availability please get in touch using the contact form, mention the urgency of your project and we’ll see what we can do. We are quite flexible and will do everything we can to accommodate you.

Do I have to use your props?
Whilst we have hundreds of props, you are more than welcome to send /bring any props of your own. Our creative team can also source and order props for you.

Can I get involved with the shoot on the day?
Of course, we love having clients at our studio and it can save you time and money!

How much product do I need to send / bring for the shoot?
We’ll let you know when confirming the shoot how much product will be needed but it’s always best to send us spares! If sending via post, ensure the product(s) are in good condition and well-wrapped to prevent any damage.

When do I receive my content?
Content will be edited and delivered to you as soon as possible, but we have a 7 day promise.

How do I receive my content?
A Dropbox link will be sent to you via email. This means you can access and use your content straight-away.

Do you provide raw files?
As with most photographers, we don’t provide raw files. This is because our edited high-resolution files showcase your content in the best possible light, ensuring your brand POPs!
